Creating Sales Pipelines and Opportunity Stages

Sales Pipeline Overview: #

Sales pipelines in AiXios allow you to track leads and deals through different stages (e.g. New Lead, Contacted, Closed Won, etc.). This helps visualize where each prospect is in the sales process and manage your opportunities effectively.

Create a New Sales Pipeline: #

In your AiXios sub-account, navigate to the Opportunities section. In the top menu of the Opportunities page, click on Pipelines. Click the Create Pipeline button. A dialog will prompt you to name the pipeline. Enter a descriptive name, for example: “Sales Pipeline” or “Client Onboarding Pipeline.” Save/confirm to create the pipeline.

Add Opportunity Stages to Your Pipeline: #

With your new pipeline selected, start adding the intermediate stages that leads will move through. Common stages might be: New Lead, Contacted, Appointment Set, Presented Proposal, Closed Won, Closed Lost. Click Add Stage and enter the name of the first stage and press enter. Continue this for each stage in the order of your sales process. Arrange the stages in the logical sequence from first touch to closing. Ensure that “Closed Won” and “Closed Lost” remain as final stages.

Manage and Utilize Your Pipeline: #

In the Opportunities section, click + Opportunity to create a new deal/opportunity. Fill in the details: select the Pipeline you just created, choose the appropriate Stage, attach a Contact, give the opportunity a name, an estimated value, and assign it to a user or team member. Save the opportunity. To move an opportunity to the next stage, simply drag and drop it from one column to the next on the Opportunities board. The pipeline view will give you counts of deals in each stage and often a total value if you’ve entered values for deals.
