Managing Contacts and Custom Fields in the CRM

CRM Overview: #

The contact manager (CRM) in AiXios is where all your leads and customers are stored. You can add contacts, import lists, and create custom fields to store specific information about each contact.

Adding Contacts to the CRM: #

In your AiXios sub-account, click on Contacts in the left sidebar. To add a single contact, click the + Add Contact button. Enter the contact’s details in the form: first name, last name, email, phone, etc. Click Save. To import multiple contacts from a CSV file, click Import Contacts. Prepare a CSV with column headers for name, email, phone, etc. Upload the file, and you’ll be prompted to map the CSV columns to AiXios contact fields. Start the import and wait for it to complete.

Creating and Using Custom Fields: #

To create a custom field, go to Settings > Custom Fields in the sub-account. Click + Add Field. Enter a Field Name (e.g. “Favorite Color” or “Account Number”). Choose the Field Type from the dropdown: Text, Large Text, Numeric, Phone, Email, Date, Dropdown, Checkbox, etc. Assign the custom field to a Field Group for better organization. Click Save. Your new custom field is now created and available across all contacts.

Managing Contact Details with Custom Fields: #

When you open a contact’s profile, scroll to the Additional Info or Custom Fields section. You will see the custom fields you created. You can fill in or edit values for each custom field per contact. You can use custom field data to filter contacts, include custom field values in your funnels/forms and automation. To capture custom field data from a form, when building a Form, you can drag in a “Custom Field” element and select your custom field so that when someone submits the form, it populates that field on their contact record.
