Creating Membership Sites and Online Courses

Membership Platform Overview: #

AiXios includes a Memberships feature that lets you create online course areas or membership sites. You can host course videos, lessons, and other content, and provide access to clients or students through offers.

Create a Membership Product (Course Content): #

In the sub-account, go to Memberships. Inside, find the Products tab and click + New Product. Choose a starting point from templates or start from scratch. Give your product a name, e.g., “Photography 101 Course.” The course builder interface will open. On the left, you can create Categories/Sections and Lessons. Start by renaming the default category (e.g., “Module 1: Basics”). Click Add Lesson under that category and give the lesson a title. Add content: you can type text, embed videos (YouTube or Vimeo links, or upload an mp4), add images or download files. Continue adding lessons and organize the order by dragging lessons or categories as needed. Publish/Save the product.

Set Up a Membership Offer (Access and Pricing): #

Switch to the Offers tab in the Memberships section and click Create Offer. Name the offer and select which Product is included. Set the Price/Payment for the offer: Free (no charge), One-Time Payment (charge a one-time fee for lifetime access), or Subscription (recurring payment). Upload a nice Offer Image and write an Offer Description highlighting what’s included. Publish the offer by toggling it from Draft to Live. Save the offer.

Customize and Share Your Membership Site: #

Click on Membership Settings within the Memberships area. Here, you can brand the membership site: upload a Logo, add a Favicon, set a Support Contact Email, and even attach a custom domain. Preview your membership site and copy the Offer Link. This URL is what you can send to people to register. When users sign up, they will create a membership login and can access your content by logging in at the membership URL. Test the experience by signing up via your offer link to ensure the videos/docs load properly and the site navigation looks good.
