Social Media Integration Overview: #

AiXios can integrate with Facebook and Instagram to manage messaging and posting. By connecting these accounts, you enable features like the Social Planner (for scheduling posts) and the ability to read and reply to Facebook messages or Instagram DMs in AiXios.

Prepare Your Social Media Accounts: #

Ensure you have a Facebook Business Page for your business (AiXios cannot post to personal profiles – only pages). You should also have an Instagram Business or Creator Account that is connected to that Facebook Page. Log in to Facebook with the account that has admin access to your business page. On Instagram, verify it’s either a Business account or Creator account and linked to your Facebook page.

Connect Facebook in AiXios: #

In AiXios (sub-account view for your business), navigate to Settings > Integrations. Under Facebook, click the Connect button. A Facebook login window will appear. Log in and follow the prompts. Grant permission for AiXios to access your Facebook pages and Instagram account. When asked, select the Facebook Page(s) you want to connect to AiXios. Also ensure you grant all requested permissions (manage pages, publish content, read content, etc.).

Connect Instagram and Use Integration: #

In the same Settings > Integrations area, you should now see an option to connect Instagram. Click Connect Instagram. Because Instagram messaging integration is done through Facebook’s API, this step might simply be part of the Facebook connection process. Once connected, both the Facebook and Instagram integration icons will be highlighted. You can go to Marketing > Social Planner to schedule posts to your Facebook page or Instagram. Incoming messages from Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct will appear in the Conversations tab.
